The 3-Dollar Plate (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by Virgo Labs, runs the website plate.virgo-labs.com and a WhatsApp messaging experience. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name, and the contents of your messages. When you make a purchase, we collect your name, email address, and billing details.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit our site we collect usage and device data (pages viewed, browser, approximate location, IP address) through cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment-card number.
How we use your information
- Provide, deliver, and support the products you buy.
- Respond to you on WhatsApp, including via an automated AI assistant.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Measure, improve, and personalize our ads, site, and offers.
- Send you messages related to your purchase or inquiry.
- Comply with legal obligations.
WhatsApp messaging
Conversations on WhatsApp are handled in accordance with the WhatsApp and Meta terms. An automated AI assistant (powered by Anthropic) may respond to your messages. You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying “STOP” or by not replying.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that operate the funnel: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp and the Meta Pixel), Stripe (payments), Google (analytics), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (data storage), and Anthropic (the AI assistant that powers chat).
- Legal and safety recipients, when required by law or to protect our rights.
Cookies and tracking
We use the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4 for analytics and ad measurement, including retargeting. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect site functionality.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email plate@virgo-labs.com.
Data deletion
To request deletion of your personal data — including your WhatsApp conversation history — email plate@virgo-labs.com with the phone number or order email you used. We will process verified requests within 30 days.
Children
Our products and site are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
International users
We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed there. By using the site you consent to this transfer.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
